The 80-20 Rule

I decided to interview Demetrio who owns a thriving cafe in Coral Gables, Florida. I asked him who he thought his customers were and he said it was the customers who keep coming back. And this is true becuase around his cafe are bankers and lawyers who go to the cafe every day for lunch. I asked him how he knows that if people are satisfied with his foods and he said that he often checks the yelp page and other. I then asked Demetrio if he knew what the Pareto Rule is and he did! He said that he is a firm believer in it and that the reason that people coming back is the reason why he is still in business.

  1. Hello Isabella. I think it’s great that you found an entrepreneur who owns a thriving business but what is the name of this cafĂ© business. I see that he knows his target customers are bankers and lawyers. Also, where are your customer interviews regarding his business? You would have received an ample amount of feedback from those lawyers or bankers. Here is a link to my post http://clarissaidos.blogspot.com/2016/02/the-80-20-rule.html

  2. A cafe in Coral Gables? Fancy! I wish you would have included more information about the cafe and its customers, and the owner himself. Pretty cool how the owner knows the Pareto Rule is!

  3. Hello!
I think it's really fantastic that the business owner knows about the rule! It is evident that the rule is successful, since many of his customers are returners and that he knows his target customers very well. I wish we could have heard/watched the interviews of the entrepreneur plus the customers. I feel like they could really give some more insight into the business.
