Very Short Interview, Part 2

Looking back at the interview today I see that I think I conducted a good interview. My questions were interesting and direct and I think it is becuase I had prior experience to entrepreneurship before this class.  Maybe something I should not have asked him was "did you always dream of being a restuarant owner?" because I feel that is a kind of question that never gives a true explanatory answer. My second interview went well, Demetrio however did not wish to be recorded.

What does "entrepreneurship" mean to you?
Entrepreneurship means to not give up on our idea until you have exhausted all over options. Many people will tell you that its risky, but its important to face adversity with bravery.

How many times did you fail before you became a success?
twice. I opened a cafe in Venezuela before I came to miami and it was a failure. It didnt even make a year. NAd before that I failed by giving up

Did you expect to have so much success as a first time restaurant owner?
Not so quickly. I obviously dreamed of owning a famous restaurant with my family, and I am so happy that we are still here 25 years later. I just knew that having high quality coffee and a calming ambience were the ingredients to sucesss.

I found that after this semester I learned alot about entrepreneurship and that is takes alot of bravery and tenacity to become and entrepreneur.

  1. I like that you asked your business entrepreneur questions that provoked thought and were more than just a yes or no response. I agree with you that this class has taught us how much risk and bravery it takes to pursue your dreams and go after your business ventures. you can view my post here, http://kailadevin.blogspot.com/2016/04/very-short-interview-part-2.html
